Things are beginning to kick on full cylinders for our small team. Couple memorable recaps from this past week.

• Hung out with guys and gals at Shoeboxed.com - It was really quite energizing to see another startup at work and an inspiration for us to aspire towards.
• Went to my first Refresh the Triangle meetup at Ogilvy - Talked to some very cool RoR guys.
• Met up with a friend from Penn and had dinner with about 30 students who were in town for the Entreprelliance conference - I’m glad that more of these programs are starting up in colleges around the country and really giving students an opportunity to broaden their business perspectives.

Lots of ideas buzzing about and I’ll do a better job of putting them on here!

After receiving good feedback from our friends at Square 1 and McKinney. We are incorporating some of the key responses we’ve been hearing over the last couple weeks.

1. Quick Entry for ideas
2. Optimized colors - projectors, different screen warmths tend to affect this
3. Redesign UI for quick access

All of these things are being packaged in the UI and we are excited to unveil the slick desgin. So thanks to the early testers for the great feedback!

Saw this on Tom Peter’s Blog. I cannot think of a simpler way of showing how IdeaBahn looks at solving problems by disassembling larger problems into smaller ideas.

A blast from the past. Our direction may have changed since this was made last summer but the concept is still the same.

Using SQLite3 for Rails on MediaTemple (dv): Daniel our Tech Ninja shares his knowledge of Rails. It’s a bit technical, but these are the creative things you need to deploy to get all the different technologies working together harmoniously.
